Coffee Corner Reviews

These are the places where I love to sit, drink their coffee, and write. I’m a health snob, so if the coffee is organic and the non-dairy milk is homemade, they get higher marks! But ambiance, taste, type of coffee, clean restrooms, and all that jazz also matter. Let me know what you think!

  1. Klatch Coffee – several locations throughout the Inland Empire, CA. They are very close to home, and my favorite location is in upper Fontana on Sierra Ave. I can sit at a table and stare out the window at the mountains less than a mile away. The almond-cashew milk latte with just a touch of honey is delicious! The stores are relatively small, but maintain a cozy atmosphere, especially in their main location on Foothill Blvd in Rancho Cucamonga. Always friendly service, a fast drive-though, and decent selection of pastries and sandwiches is also good. But one thing would make it perfect – Gluten free muffins! I keep telling them, but so far, no luck.
  2. The Lost Bean Organic Coffee, Tustin, CA. I went there for the first time yesterday, and was delighted! They have two rooms for comfy sitting. One is the coffee shop proper, and the other an occasional wine bar. Organic coffee without all the chemical spray is a huge plus! They had a delicious gluten free pumpkin muffin, and their heavy cream latte was good. I always order it extra hot, and it could have been hotter when I picked it up. But not bad. The shop is in a very cute old-fashioned shopping center, so my time there was very enjoyable.
